They demo'd the old roof, and installed the new roof in one day. They worked very hard, and everything seems perfect.

Description of work: A-1 Roofing Systems replaced our roof on 08/17. They used Owens-Corning dimensional shingles (Oakridge/Driftwood). Our original roof was installed in 1998, and was in dire need of being replaced, due to several ice storms/etc over the years.

FABULOUS!! I called A-1 for an estimate on my roof that needed to be replaced on a very short timeframe and under tentative weather conditions. Jim responded quickly and came to my home for a personal inspection.

Within 15 minutes i had the estimate in-hand along with shingle recommendations. He checked the weather conditions and confirmed the best day for the services within my already tight timeline and he worked with my insurance company to assure that everything was aligned.

When the weather conditions turned for the worst, he had an alternate plan, which he eventually had to go with the meet my deadline. His crew showed up as scheduled and completed the job as expected. Jim even came back to inspect the work midway through the project and at project completion.

All i can say is that he was an angel in disguise. If you want a roofer who gets he job done - go with A-1 !!! A COMPLETELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. Thanks Jim!!!

Description of work: Dealt directly with the owner. James and his team were extremely easy to deal with. What had been very contentious and multiple claims with our insurance company was handled professionally by James.

James met with us three times to review our prior claims and documentation before the adjuster arrived. The insurance inspection was handled by James and resulted in our entire roof finally being replaced.

The actual work went s scheduled and A-1's crew were professional, through and did a great job in installation and clean up. We cousin"t be more pleased with the work and dealings with A-1.

Description Of Work: Tear off and reroof manufacture home hail damage. From the first contact they were very professional. From the quote and info left color samples and references to doing the job and clean up I am very pleased with their work.

• Be prepared for the noise! Construction crews will probably start early in the morning. There will be constant hammering and noise during construction; you may want to plan some time away if possible.

• Keep children and pets away from the work area.

• Remove all loose items from perimeter walls and shelves. Pictures, plates, figurines, etc. The constant hammering may cause enough vibration to shake these items from walls and shelves.

• We will need access to your driveway to load materials and clean up, so please keep your driveway clear while the job is in progress. We will inform you in advance of the materials arriving.

• Remove all items from around the house, patio/pool furniture, potted plants, gardening equipment, etc. Roofing debris and/or materials may fall unexpectedly.

• Please see that electrical power is provided to the outside of the building. Check circuit breakers to exterior plugs if available. lf exterior plugs are not available, please run an extension cord through a window or under the garage door. A short, high amperage cord is best.

• For each day it rains or snows, work on your project will be delayed. A1 Roofing Indiana personnel are instructed not to tear off more shingles than they can replace in one day.

• Nails that fall from the roof during the job will be picked up with a magnetic roller. We will make every effort to pick up all nails. The softer your grass when we start, the more nails we'll find when we leave.

• While removing shingle roofs, some debris will fall into the attic (slat decking only), lf your attic is used for storage, you may want to cover these stored items.

• Our field supervisors, project managers, material runners, and production managers pledge to work as a team with you to make this project go as smoothly as possible and with the least amount of inconvenience for you and your family.
